I can tell 100 percent from other reviews on line people have not figured out how to set up the camera by opening the instructions it can be made to do away with almost all complaints but people do not realize it is a dash cam designed for that purpose you can have the screen on or off it doesn't mean it is not recording and if it seems like it turns on and off after unplugging it is because you are moving it and it thinks the car got hit and is trying to record it for you and that can be turned off! Also the clock can be turned off and is the first thing I did because it is distracting ! These dash cameras are great for the price!!!!!!!

Found this on clearance for $14. I think that's an appropriate price instead of the $25 it's listed for. The camera quality is OKAY. you'll be able to make out what happened but not license plates. I dislike the blue tint on the mirror and the mirror is nice and big except it prevents me from folding my sunvisor down. I ultimately did return it for this reason. The UI did seem responsive, and the clock is a nice touch but I don't think there's a way to turn the screen off. Maybe it would work better with a bigger vehicle where the sun visors don't interfere as much or if you don't care about that but in my 1st gen Tacoma it was just too big.
